If practical, remove fragile items and small furniture. Larger furniture can often be moved to the centre of the room and protected. We confirm any preparation expected from you before the start date.
Yes. The method depends on the paper, adhesive and condition of the wall. We remove it carefully and assess the surface beneath before agreeing the preparation needed for the new finish.
Yes. Protection is part of professional preparation. The exact coverings and movement of furniture depend on the room and the work being undertaken.
Timing depends on the size of the property, condition of the surfaces, number of trades and drying or curing periods. We provide an expected programme with the quotation and explain any dependencies.
Yes. We keep the working area orderly and remove normal job waste as agreed. A separate commercial or post-work cleaning service can also be quoted where a more extensive final clean is required.
The existing Q1 Dekor website states that the business holds public liability and damage insurance. Current certificates and any project-specific requirements should be checked as part of the quotation process.
Q1 Dekor can prepare a written quotation for relevant repair or redecoration work. Acceptance and contractor selection remain decisions for the insurer and policyholder.
Some extensions, loft conversions and structural alterations require professional design, planning permission, Building Regulations approval or structural calculations. The requirements depend on the property and proposal; these should be established before the relevant construction work proceeds.
We can supply materials within the quotation or work with suitable items you have selected or purchased. Responsibilities, product choices and lead times are agreed before the job starts.
